Avatar is a sci-fi movie, directed by James Cameron, produced by 20th Century Fox and starring sam worthington, zoe saldana and sigourney weaver. It was released in 2D in North America in 3D and IMAX-3D formats from June 5th to February 6th, 2009.

The film mainly tells the story of human beings wearing the body of Avatar and flying to the distant Pandora planet to exploit resources. Jack, a former marine who walked in a wheelchair after being injured, volunteered to accept the experiment and came to Pandora with his head. After getting to know the local princess Neytiri of Nami, Jack was caught in a dilemma in a war between human beings and soldiers and civilians of Pandora.
