Where did Xuanzang go west?

Xuanzang left Chang 'an via Qin Zhou (Tianshui) and arrived in Liangzhou (now Wuwei, Gansu). At that time, people were forbidden to leave the customs without permission in the Tang Dynasty, so he looked forward to being in Liangzhou for a long time. Later, with the help of the local people, they mixed in a caravan and arrived in Guazhou (now Dunhuang). After crossing Guazhou, it passes through Shule River to Yumenguan Pass, passes through five beacon towers, enters Moheyan moraine (formerly known as Liushahe, a desert nearly 400 kilometers west of Hami, Xinjiang), and passes Momo. China (located at the western end of Mohe Yanqi near Hami, Xinjiang) stayed in Yiwu for more than 10 days and came to Gao Changguo (now Turpan South, Xinjiang). After that, it passed through Yanqi, Qiuci (now Kuqa, Xinjiang) and other small countries in the western regions, and arrived at Lingshan (now Shanmushuoling). After crossing Lingshan, it entered Central Asia, and entered Broken Leaf City along Lake Issyk Kul and Chu River in today's Kazakhstan (now Long Fu, Uzbekistan).

Xuanzang 13 studied rivers in India. When he returned home, he passed through Afghanistan, the southern edge of Pamirs, along Qiqi River, Shule, Khotan, Shanshan and Guazhou.
