Hanque was built in the gate or building of Han Dynasty.
Stone Que in Han Dynasty, referred to as Han Que for short, is a memorial building in Han Dynasty. Hanque, known as the stone "Hanshu", is a "living fossil" of ancient architecture in China.
Stone Que in Han Dynasty is the earliest and best preserved ancient ground building in China. It has a history of nearly 2000 years and is a national treasure.
In the Han dynasty, buildings were built in pairs outside the city gate or outside the building to show their dignity. Because it is separated from the left and right, there is a gap in the middle, so it is called que (the ancient "que" and "que" are universal). Its prototype is the watchtowers on both sides of the gap in the ancient wall door. After people can build a large-scale gatehouse, it will evolve into a magnificent building outside the door, and its defense function will gradually weaken. The literature records that there were tombs in the Western Zhou Dynasty, and the earliest surviving relics belong to the Han Dynasty, which is a precious material for understanding the architecture of the Han Dynasty.
Among the existing Han Ques, Taishi Que, Shao Shi Quemen and Qimu Pagoda in Dengfeng County, Henan Province, Wushi Que in Jiaxiang, Jining City, Shandong Province, Feng Huanque and Shenfu Junque in Qu County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, Pingyang Fujun Que in Mianyang City, Gaoyi Que in Ya 'an County, Sichuan Province, Wuyang Que and Fang Ding Que in Zhongxian County, Chongqing Province, all have no inscriptions, among which Wuyang Que Que is the best preserved Han Que. Han que is divided into stone que and brick que according to different materials. It is said that there used to be rammed earth as a que, but now it is difficult to tell.
