What should I do if I want to learn photography?

This is my experience, you can refer to it.

Let’s learn the aperture, shutter, focal length, and sensitivity in a down-to-earth manner, and then learn to hold and steady the camera. These are all basic skills, and then comes the composition. You can practice composition with anything, even a mobile phone, etc. finger.

I read some books on equipment and photography on various subjects 17 years ago, and then I read books on composition. Now look at the books published by the New York School of Photography. Don’t read those quick tutorials on SLR cameras, which are misleading, and read books that are not about operation, such as photography ideas.

Look at some photography and paintings to increase your appreciation.

Don’t use automatic gear when taking pictures. It’s very fun to take full manual pictures. Don’t blame the camera if you don’t take good pictures. Think about what you did wrong and what areas you need to improve on. Listen more to photography ideas. For advice, talk more about technology and ideas, think more about what happened before pressing the shutter; rely less on post-processing, talk less about cameras, and buy and sell cameras less.

Practice is the most important thing. I have summarized the steps myself. Each step below is practiced before practicing the next step.

Step one: Take a photo with all the scenes in the photo clear.

Step 2: Take a photo in which the subject is clear and the rest is blurry.

Step 3: Shoot with a high shutter speed.

Step 4: Shoot at a slow shutter speed.

Step 5: Shoot low-speed moving objects.

Step 6: Shoot high-speed moving objects.

Step 7: Shoot at night.

Step 8: Take low-key photos.

Step 9: Take high-profile photos.

Step 10: Follow and shoot.

Step 11: pose and use natural light.

Step 12: pose for the photo and use your own light.

Step 13: Capture and express the big scene.

Step 14: Take a snapshot to show the character’s expression.

Step 15: Find a way to include yourself in the photo without the camera appearing in the photo.

Step 16: Innovate yourself.

Do not use flash before step 15.

You will feel that the above is getting more and more difficult, but if you pass it, your level will improve.
