Six photographic skills to keep the hand-held camera stable

In many occasions, such as dim light, in order to increase exposure and keep the camera stable, a tripod is needed. But there is no tripod, or the venue is not allowed to use a tripod. What should I do with my hand? Here are six photography techniques that I brought to keep my hand-held camera stable. I hope you like them.

First, use the left hand as the main support.

This is the most common way, and the key point is to put your elbows away and clamp them, and gather them tightly against your chest. Two elbows and three points supporting eyes and sticking to the viewfinder are the most common stable shooting methods.

Second, the body is next to the wall.

Finding something to rely on usually helps to stabilize the camera.

Third, take elbow as a platform.

This posture is quite stable, especially when you are tired after filming all day.

Fourth, get down.

When shooting at a low angle, you can get a stable effect by holding your knee against your elbow.

Fifth, sitting posture

It's more comfortable to sit with your feet on your elbows!

6. Don't hold your breath.

You should keep a steady breathing rhythm, and it is more stable to shoot between breathing and inhaling than to hold your breath.
