How to shoot curtains professionally?

1, the most important thing to shoot curtain products is the influence of light. It is suggested to find a well-lit environment or use an external flash to shoot, and with certain post-processing, good shooting results can be obtained.

2. Set the lighting according to the color of the curtain. If it is bright, it is recommended to use a sun lamp; If it is warm, tungsten lamp is recommended. The wattage of the lamp must be large. According to the area of the curtain, the wattage should be increased. Generally, three lights should be set, which are located in front, up, left, middle and right of the curtain. The width of the left and right lights should be greater than the width of the curtain and the height should be higher than the curtain. The projection distance should be consistent until the light is distributed. If the lower part of the curtain is dark, you can add two floor lamps to fill the light.

3. The shooting format should be stored in RAW format, not JEPG format, and there is more room for later adjustment with software. Post-adjustment: camera raw in PS can be used to adjust exposure and brightness.

4. When shooting, don't use the brightest place as the metering point, so the camera will first ensure that the bright place is not exposed, and the dark place will naturally be dark, so choose the dark part as the metering point, such as indoor furniture and TV. In this way, the camera will ensure the normal exposure of the dark part and the curtain part will naturally light up. If you take photos in RAW format, these can be adjusted later.
