I think there are several hotels in Redang Island that are mainstream choices, but friends who recall the theme of the movie "Summer Tea" will probably choose Laguna Resort like me. As for the ocean view room? I don't see the need to stay there. First, the price is higher. Second, I can have close contact with the real sea from morning to night every day. I don’t have much time to stay in the house and watch the ocean, do I? Haha. Why not use the money you save from staying in an ocean view room to go scuba diving and eat lobsters?
(1) Berjaya Beach Resort, 5 stars. It has its own airport and is relatively expensive.
(2)Laguna Laguna Relang Island Resort, 4 stars, provides an all-inclusive package for 2 nights and 3 days.

(3)Sari Pacifica Resort Spa Shari Pacific Resort, Redangrelang Island, 5 stars, the room rate does not include snorkeling, they are all water houses, and the prices are relatively More expensive.
(4) Redang Beach Resort Redang Beach Resort, 4 stars, is located on the right side of Laguna from the front, very close. The price is cheaper than Laguna, but the comprehensive facilities are slightly worse.
(5) Redang Reef Resort Redang Reef Resort feels only 3 stars. You'll arrive after passing the small trestle on the left side of Laguna. The environmental sanitation is not very good, and the price is definitely cheap. If you have a low budget, you can consider this place.

We exchanged 1,000 yuan in one go, which was almost less than 500 ringgit. Since credit cards can be used in many places, we used cash. There are not many opportunities. )

Best shopping place in Kuala Lumpur:
KLCC (expensive) - 500 meters from Bukit Tangbin city centre.
Central Valley (Public)
Bukit Tong Bin (Public Shopping, Food Street) - KL Sentral Railway Station, cross the street and take the monorail to IMBI or Bukit Tong Bin. Shopping malls near the Avenue of Stars in Bukit Menteng include Pavilion (Times Square), Sungai Wang (Sungea Sun Plaza), Sogou (Avenue of Stars), and the giant supermarket under Sungei Wang Plaza in Bukit Tangbin recommends buying specialty products.
Specialties: dried durian, curry, Ipoh white coffee, mango candy, tin products.
Petaling Road is Chinatown. Get off at LRt Paser Seni station and walk for 10 minutes.
Recommended restaurants in KLCC Twin Towers:
MAMDAM KWANS (Mrs. Kwan) on the 4th floor, Malaysian cuisine, RM25 per person. (Laska and coconut rice are a must here. It was so delicious and we only spent RM58.2 for the two of us.)
There is a bear that has disappeared from China. Fast food, you can try it.
On the ground floor, ROtIBOY Bakery recommends the popular coffee bread.
On the basement floor, Vincci shoes are available at a discount of NT$100 for 3 pairs. It is a very popular brand in Malaysia and has fashionable styles.
Introducing some Malaysian food, in case a friend orders it:
Satay: Satay is the most popular food in Malaysia. It is made of mutton, beef and chicken cut into pieces and marinated with spices, skewered with thin bamboo skewers and roasted over charcoal fire. Satay comes with rice cake (Ketupat) and lettuce salad containing cucumber, pineapple and onion, and can also be served with sweet peanut sauce and gravy.
Nasi Lemak: Coconut milk rice with dried fish, boiled eggs, roasted peanuts and cucumber shreds.
Roti Canai: Breakfast that can be ordered at any time in Malaysia. It's a crispy pie filled with wheat dough, beaten eggs and chopped onions.
Naxi Dagang: A popular breakfast in Kelantan and Terengganu. The main fillings inside are rice and fish curry. Nasi Goreng: Fried rice over high heat. The main ingredients are a small amount of meat, shrimp, eggs, and vegetables. Nasi Kandar: It got its name from Penang hawkers who hung rice and curry on both ends of a stick ten years ago. The main ingredients of this dish are pork, chicken, fish and vegetables. Rojak: It's made with chopped pineapple, cucumber, tofu, chopped shrimp and hard-boiled eggs mixed with peanut butter. The taste is very good. Char Kway teow: It is made of flat rice strips mixed with chopped garlic, added with fresh prawns, bean sprouts and shredded eggs, and seasoned with soy sauce and chili sauce. Chicken Rice: There are many varieties, but the most popular is Hainanese Chicken Rice, which is made with tender, juicy chicken and rice cooked in chicken broth, garlic chili sauce and cilantro leaves with shredded cucumber. Curry Laksa (Curry Laksa): Curry sauce is poured over noodles, and the ingredients are cooked with chicken nuggets, tofu, and bean sprouts. It tastes very spicy. Fried noodles: The noodles used are made of glutinous rice flour. Due to different methods, there are different flavors, such as Malay, Chinese, Indian, and vegetarian. Hokkien noodles: wide yellow noodles with shrimp, squid and bean sprouts, seasoned with thick soy sauce. Murtabak: An Indian cake. The mincemeat is a mixture of ground beef, onions and crushed eggs, usually flavored with curry sauce.
Hot and Sour Curry Rice (Nasi Vlam): Usually eaten during the fasting month of Ramadan, but can be eaten at any time in Kelantan and Terengganu. Rendang: It takes a long time to cook. Cooked with meat, coconut milk, pepper, onion and spices such as cinnamon, alfalfa, nutmeg, and served with rice, rice cakes or sticky rice cooked in coconut milk. The taste is sweet, fresh and refreshing. Steamboat: Basically the same as domestic hot pot. The diners sit around a round table with a deep pot of soup in the middle. There is a fire under the pot to heat and keep it warm. Diners can put raw shrimp, chicken, quail eggs, sea cucumber, chicken liver or pork liver into the boiling soup and enjoy it. Indian cake (thosai): A refreshing cake made from rice flour and filled with potatoes and mixed vegetables, often served with coconut and lentil curry. Wonton Noodles: A type of noodles from Hong Kong, Macau and Southeast Asia made with pork and shrimp wontons. Since we only had a half-day layover from Kuala Lumpur to Pulau Rangang and we were flying to Terengganu the next day, we could only do a simple half-day movie tour in Kuala Lumpur. You can selectively visit the following attractions. In the end, we only had enough time to visit half of the attractions here: Recommended classic attractions: Dataran Merdeka, National Mosque, Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, National Museum, Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur Tower.
(Be sure to take a printed subway map, or buy it locally.) You can probably take the subway and follow the route I summarized, and you will see the attractions: KL SENtRAL - Merdeka Square: Light Rail from the subway Go to the Jamek Mosque, which is opposite the exit. Little India is on the street next to Maidanu on the left. Turn right at the subway station, that is, turn left when you come out of Jamek Mosque and walk straight for 7 or 8 minutes. Walk towards the big flagpole, which is Independence Square and the High Court. There is a small museum next to the big flagpole, and then walk along the road behind the small museum for about 300 meters. , which is the National Mosque, and there is a tunnel at the entrance of the National Mosque. Across the road is the old train station and the General Post Office. Afterwards, take the KtM electric train at the old train station directly back to KL SENtRAL or walk down at the entrance of the General Post Office. By the way, you can visit the Central Market at the Central Museum of Fine Arts. Directly opposite the Central Art Museum entrance is the Pasar Seni LRT station, where you can take the LRT station and return to KL SENtRAL. From the platform of Pasar Seni Station, you can clearly see the road in front of the old train station, where Jackie Chan filmed "Never Give Up".
There are some out-of-pocket expenses after going to the island. I summarized it:
Rana land transfer fee: RM36 per person/round trip.
Park environmental protection fee: RM5/person.
Fish bread: RM2/bag
Underwater photos: RM5/photo. There are no waterproof camera covers for rent on the island. If necessary, you must bring your own. A staff member will take photos of each dive. Each couple takes about 10 photos. Every night from 7 to 10 pm in the diving center, you can choose a movie. Your favorite engraving is RM5. The staff will leave you an email and tell you that you can send an email if you can't stand it after returning the order. The photos will be kept for 2 weeks, which is very thoughtful. I ended up buying two, and I'm pretty satisfied with them, and they're not expensive either.
Ocean Tattoo: RM20/item for 7 days.
I borrowed snorkeling equipment and a 500-meter snorkeling mask and life jacket from the recreation center (where there is a big shark sign). This set of equipment = RM45 and can be kept until check-out.
Diving: People with a PADI certificate can dive to depths ranging from 18 to 30 meters. Those without a PADI certificate can only practice diving to about 6m, and the cost ranges from 60 to 160 ringgit. Of course, there are also various PADI certificate courses here, but I’m afraid I won’t be able to finish them if I live on the island for less than a week. Night diving is also possible for skilled divers.
Jungle Adventure: The resort also offers jungle adventure activities on outlying islands, but they conflict with the two snorkeling activities included in the package price. If you want to explore the jungle, you have to give up a morning or afternoon of snorkeling and think about it yourself.
Rabbits play freely on Redang Island, so we won’t talk about what they play here. Here are some suggestions for visiting the island:
There, you can rent a large towel for free with your room card. It is brown, because the large white towel in the room is not allowed for snorkeling. Everyone should pay attention to this. Brown pool towels must be returned before 7 o'clock every night and can be replaced midway, all free of charge.
You can also rent a large cushion on the beach chair next to the swimming pool, the depth is only 1.5 meters.
The ice cream in the swimming pool is also very good. A ball costs 1.50 ringgit and comes in many flavours. I grinded the rabbit to buy three balls, and he was furious. He doesn't let me eat too many sweets. (The shaved ice at the beach bar is also delicious. Each price is RM6. Haha, I still cheated and ate one.)
Or leave the key at the front desk before diving and swimming, and pick it up when you come back to avoid Omissions and losses. Although I have to go to the front desk every time, I feel at ease.
There are two main lurkers on this day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. In the morning, go to Ocean Park. When you go, remember to bring a blue ticket. The staff will give you this ticket when you arrive on the first day. You can only go by boat with this ticket. Many people want to board the ship on this day, only to find that they do not have their tickets with them and must bring them with them.
The actual experience is: there are many fish in the Ocean Park, but the corals are no better than other places.
On the high seas, because the boat is parked very deep, if you go into the sea and just go snorkeling near the boat, you won't see much beautiful scenery. You have to swim offshore so the corals are prettier. Usually, we stay away from people. Before we went there, we saw a travel friend in front of the Laguna Hotel who recommended the sea. He walked to the big reef with his left hand and said that he could see small sharks, but we didn't see it. What a pity.
We went to the high seas in the afternoon, the location has not yet been decided. I feel like we chose a bad location this time. We basically didn’t see any fish except for countless large fleshy insects like coral polyps on the seabed. Compared with the countless colorful fish I saw in Ocean Park this morning, I was a bit disappointed.
Guna Memorial Teahouse:
You can buy a Canon diving camera for 50 ringgit. If you haven’t bought souvenirs at the Commodity Street at Dingjianu Wharf (it is strongly recommended to buy here instead of on the island). I suggest you go to the merchandise store in Zhanqiao Hotel. The same thing is twice as cheap as a teahouse.
Sockets: Malaysian sockets are British standard sockets, and you need to bring an adapter plug.
The ferry to Lelang: from Merang Pier to Laguna Redang and Laguna Redang Island Hotel, the daily departure time is 9:30-12:30. If you miss it, you have to wait until tomorrow~ ~
Laguna Redang, Laguna Redang Island Hotel, departs from Merang Jetty at Morang Pier, the time is from 9:00 to 12:00, there are also two class.
Island
The temperature is about 30 degrees. It is advisable to take a walk on the beach before the sun rises or 2 hours after sunset. If I don’t go diving in the afternoon, I’ll just blow on the air conditioner in the house or go to the swimming pool.
The best place to eat in the cafeteria on the second floor of the lobby:
T1 and t11 are the best places with unparalleled sea views, so we were assigned to t11 once. Really beautiful. Seeing the incomparable sea view, blowing the sea breeze, and eating all the delicious food, it feels amazingly good. However, the table numbers here are all assigned by the usher, and it depends on luck.
