The Adult Education College of Nanchang University is the administrative organization and school-running unit responsible for adult education under the administrative leadership of the Party Committee and the school. It was formed by the merger of the former Jiangxi University and the Adult Education Department of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology in July. 1993. It was founded in 1964, but it was closed due to the Cultural Revolution. After the "Cultural Revolution", 1982 resumed night university, 1985 offered professional courses for cadres, 1987 offered correspondence education, 1989 offered professional certificate courses, and 1993 was promoted to junior college. 1984, as one of the first examiner schools, undertook the task of self-study examination for higher education in Jiangxi province. There are 24 faculty members in the college, including 20 with college education or above and 6 with sub-high titles or above.
