In 2007, Wu Lixin, the first photographer sent by China Diving Association, participated in the World Underwater Photography Championship, which is known as the "Olympics of Underwater Photography", and won the macro silver prize. Wu Lixin has been fascinated by the underwater world since he came into contact with diving in 2002. In order to share the beautiful scenery he saw underwater with his friends, he learned underwater photography from scratch. Because of his concentration and perseverance, he achieved excellent results in underwater photography in just five years. Most of Wu Lixin's current works are taken from overseas waters and are full of aestheticism. When he found that there were few underwater records in China, he decided to transfer his research object to China. This change is a brand-new beginning for him, and he feels that there are too many things to do. Nature photography is inseparable from ecological problems, and Wu Lixin is increasingly aware of the practical significance of "protecting nature with images": "I want to show the real situation of China's underwater world, whether it is beautiful or ugly." He will give his photos more sense of social responsibility.
