Introduction of Axi Torch Festival

Axi Fire Festival is a mysterious celebration in Hongwan Village, Yi Xi Town, Maitreya City, Yunnan Province, which is held every year on the third day of the second lunar month. The Ashi people of Yi nationality will hold a grand and wonderful return to nature, and regard fire as the spirit of all things like crazy. This festival of offering sacrifices to Vulcan is an ancient tradition handed down by ancestors, which has been passed down for nearly a thousand years.
