How does AstraZeneca Astronomical Telescope automatically search for stars to expose deep space objects or nebulae?
Idolize does not require exposure. It calculates the position of the celestial body according to the coordinates of the celestial body in the internal database and the time and place information input on the handle, and then controls the motor to point at the target. This automatic star search is also called GOTO. However, this kind of automatic star search needs manual calibration first, and the pointing is not very accurate, so it needs manual adjustment.
The telescope itself can't shoot. If you want to shoot with this telescope, you need to equip a camera terminal first. The simplest one is a SLR camera, and the professional one can use CCD. But I remember that the theodolite equipped with AstraZeneca automatic star finder is not suitable for long-term exposure, and there will be rotation of the field of view. For long-time exposure photography, it is necessary to use an equatorial camera with automatic tracking, and generally use a star guide device, otherwise the general equatorial camera cannot accurately support long-time exposure. However, it is still no problem for theodolite to photograph the surface of planet and moon with planetary camera. The Marca telescope was originally called the Planetary Killer. It is not a good choice to shoot deep space objects with Marca telescope because its focal ratio is too large (similar to the aperture value of SLR lens) and its exposure efficiency is too low. Astrophotography is a systematic project, which has certain difficulties and needs considerable capital investment. A set of basically available deep space photographic equipment needs 10 thousand yuan to start.
In addition, there is an accurate method of finding stars, which is a combination of the two. GOTO first, then take pictures, compare the star map with special computer software, calculate the actual pointing position, then correct the telescope pointing coordinates, and then GOTO. This way you can find the target very accurately. This process is generally called analysis. Compared with ordinary GOTO, this method of finding stars is the difference between map and GPS.
