How about Pentax SLR?

First of all, Canon 450D and Pentax 10D are not in the same class. 450D is an entry-level SLR, and 10D is a mid-range SLR, which has a certain price gap. If you want to choose one of them, if you have enough funds, you'd better buy 10D.
