The hood has many sizes and should match the focal length of the lens. The shorter the focal length of the lens, the larger the viewing angle and the shorter the hood. If you use the hood of a standard lens on a wide-angle lens, it will inevitably lead to the result that the image around the screen cannot be imaged.

Backlight photography widely uses a hood, which can generally avoid glare. However, if the light source is close, glare may still appear. At this time, you can cover the range hood with your hand on the side where the light source is located. Whether the glare is eliminated or not should be observed clearly from the viewfinder.
