Is it better to use P file or A file for SLR white novice shooting?

The M, Av, Tv and P files on the camera correspond to manual exposure, aperture priority automatic exposure, shutter priority automatic exposure and program automatic exposure respectively (similar to auto automatic file). Except for file M, Av, Tv and P all have automatic camera settings (aperture or shutter), which is equivalent to semi-automatic photographing.

For beginners, we should find as much time as possible to practice and master the basic shooting skills of M, Av, Tv and P files. The reason why SLR has so many settings is to set for different shooting needs. Although some files are basically the same in use, they cannot replace each other. There are differences in similarities, and there is no saying that there is a good file and a bad file.

If Av (Aperture Priority Auto Exposure) is used and the aperture is set to 5.6, the camera will automatically adjust the shutter speed according to the light at the shooting location. If the shooting place is dark, the camera may adjust the shutter speed below the limit speed (safety shutter) of hand-held shooting (if the shutter speed is lower than 1/30 seconds when anti-shake is turned on, the shooting may be blurred), or it may adjust it to 1/2 seconds or even higher. In this case, Tv (shutter priority automatic exposure) should be used, and the shutter should be set above 1/30 seconds, so that the camera can automatically set the aperture to ensure that the photo will not be taken falsely.

The key to photography is exposure and composition, among which exposure is the most critical, and the key to determining whether exposure is correct is aperture, shutter and sensitivity. Usually when shooting, as long as you have time to adjust the aperture, shutter and sensitivity of the camera, try to use M (manual setting) to shoot, so as to take the exposure photos you need. As for Av, Tv and P files, they are all used when shooting time is tight (such as snapshots). Sometimes in places with complicated light, it is not good to use Av, Tv, P and auto automatic gears. Only the M file can ensure that your subject is properly exposed.

Nikon D7000 is also a good machine and durable. Shoot more and practice more, and explore the relationship among aperture, shutter and sensitivity for different places (light). It won't be long before you can master all kinds of shooting files.
