Even the backlight that everyone shoots can make the audience feel strange. First of all, I haven't read other people's backlit books. If there are similarities, it is purely coincidental!
Abroad, there is Rembrandt light, which refers to the painting or shooting method that strongly uses the light sense of the characters' faces and emphasizes the facial features and faces, while the sunshine in Taiwan Province Province is generally called Moline Niang light, because it rains all the year round in Taiwan Province Province, so we can really thank the gods for shooting beautiful backlight.

To shoot a good-looking backlight, we must first have a lens that is not too bad, preferably a new lens, and then try to open the aperture as wide as possible to shoot a transparent and bright feeling on the premise of taking into account the image quality. Secondly, it is best to shoot with negative film, and use the high tolerance of negative film to express the tone of backlight (the brand and quality of negative film will also affect the effect of backlight shooting. Personally, it seems that Fuji's tolerance is a little better than Kodak's.
Backlight shooting is the most important theme, but the background can't be dead white, otherwise there will be fog, because the outline of a backlit portrait can only be clearly displayed in a clear background, and if digital shooting is used, it will be easy to blur and make the image have no three-dimensional sense.

You may not know what to say, but you can read it quickly: The following two pictures show the light around 3: 30 pm in autumn in southern Taiwan Province Province. Rush, sweep and lens are all the same', and the second one is brighter. Although the conditions are not exactly the same, you can still see how different the aperture size is from the negative!
The following photo was taken in a residential area next to Huaihai Middle Road in Shanghai. In fact, the situation that day was very suitable for backlighting. However, because there is only one digital camera at hand, we can leave this digital backlight for everyone to see and compare. Although the performance of Canon EOS 5D Mark II is very good, it is still not as good as the negative.

The height of the sun determines the effect: generally, we shoot girls outside in the afternoon (we can't get up in the morning), and the best time is from 4: 00 to 6: 30 in summer (Taiwan Province Province) and from 2: 00 to 5: 00 in winter. Before going out, you can check that the first half hour of a day in central weather bureau is the most beautiful magical moment, and then observe whether the sky near the horizon is opaque.
