Why use 35 mm film? Is it because it is the same as people's normal vision?

It has nothing to do with vision. The so-called "the same visual effect as the human eye" generally means that the perspective effect is close to the human eye, and the perspective effect is determined by the field angle of the lens. The visual field angle of human eyes is about 45~50 degrees. When the diagonal length of the photosensitive element is the same as (or close to) the focal length of the lens, the angle of view is close to the human eye, so the perspective effect is closest to the human eye. Therefore, the choice of film has nothing to do with the field of view. In addition, the adhesive film is not only 35mm film, but also includes 8mm film and 16mm film to 65mmIMAX film. The larger the film size, the better the image quality, but the higher the cost. Under the balance of these two factors, 35mm is the best choice.
