Because the focal length of the telescope is not short, direct focus photography can only shoot a small range in the sky, but can't shoot a big constellation. As for the planet, because it is too small, it can't be directly focused and photographed, so it can only be magnified. In the solar system, only the sun, the moon and comets can be photographed in direct focus.
