What are the three primary colors of light and color?
The three primary colors of colored light are red, green, and blue. Shade mixing is also called additive color mixing. When different colors of light are irradiated together at the same time, another new color of light can be produced. With the increase of different color mixing stations, the brightness of the mixed color light will gradually increase, and the energy will also become larger and larger. Equal amounts of red light and green light are mixed to produce yellow light; equal amounts of red light and blue light are mixed to produce magenta light; equal amounts of green light and blue light are mixed to produce cyan light; equal amounts of red, green, and blue primary colors are mixed to produce white light. If the three primary colors are mixed in unequal amounts, a richer color effect will be produced.
The three primary colors of color and light (the three additive primary colors) are: red, green, and blue. The light will become brighter and brighter, and by mixing two or two, you can get brighter intermediate colors: yellow, magenta (or magenta, purple), and cyan. White can be obtained by combining three equal amounts. A complementary color means that it does not contain another color at all. Red and green are mixed to form yellow. Because it does not contain blue at all, yellow is the complementary color of blue. Two complementary colors mixed in equal amounts also form white. Yellow is obtained when red and green are mixed in a certain proportion. So yellow cannot be called the three primary colors.
In addition to the three primary colors of color and light, there is another three primary colors, called the three primary colors of pigments (subtractive primary colors). The colors we see in printing are actually the light reflected by the paper we see. For example, when we adjust colors when painting, we also use this combination. Pigments absorb light instead of superimposing light, so the three primary colors of pigments are the colors that can absorb RGB, which are yellow, magenta, and cyan (CMY). They are the complementary colors of RGB.
Mix yellow pigment and cyan pigment. Because yellow pigment absorbs blue light and cyan pigment absorbs red light, only green light is reflected. This is how yellow pigment plus cyan pigment form green.
