Objective To explore the application value of spiral CT three-dimensional reconstruction in the diagnosis of lumbar spondylolysis. Methods 12 patients with lumbar spondylolysis were analyzed by spiral CT three-dimensional reconstruction. Maximum density projection (MIP), surface reconstruction (SSD), volume reconstruction (VR) and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) were used to analyze the manifestations of lumbar spondylolisthesis, spondylolysis, callus, osteophyte and fibrous tissue hyperplasia. Results MIP, SSD and VR can display lumbar spondylolisthesis and spondylolysis well, but they can't display callus, osteophyte and fibrous tissue hyperplasia. MPR showed that spondylolisthesis, isthmus fissure, callus and osteophyte formation and fibrous tissue hyperplasia were all good. Conclusion Three-dimensional reconstruction of spiral CT has a good effect on displaying lumbar spondylolysis and its related changes, and has important guiding significance for making surgical plans in clinic.
