Hanfu apple is an excellent apple variety selected by Horticulture Department of Shenyang Agricultural University.

Hanfu apple was bred in 1978 by crossing Dongguang with strong cold resistance as female parent and Fuji with excellent fruit quality as male parent. It has the characteristics of cold resistance, high yield, excellent fruit quality and obvious short branch characteristics. Hanfu Apple is mainly produced in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, especially in the new rural township of xinmin city, which is called "the first township of Hanfu Apple industry in Liaoning Province".

Hanfu apple fruit is short and cylindrical, with an average single fruit weight of 250g and a maximum fruit weight of 515 g. The background color is yellow-green, or it can be all red, with bright red skin and small nucleus. The flesh is light yellow, crisp and juicy, sweet and sour, and fragrant. Hanfu apples have strong storage resistance, and generally will not wrinkle or deteriorate after being stored in cellar for 8 months.

When buying Hanfu apples, don't choose the one with red inside, or a big piece of red and the rest is green. This kind of apple is sweet and even astringent. Don't have wormholes or scarred apples. This kind of apple will rot easily if put away. In addition, if its pedicle is black, it means that it has been put for a long time and is not fresh. If it's cyan or light green, it means it's just picked and fresh.

According to the weight of Hanfu apple, it is light and weightless, and it is definitely short of water. If you want to pick it up, it's full of water.
