If I want to take a very clear picture of Jupiter (can see the Great Red Spot), what kind of equipment do I need?

It is obvious to the people upstairs that they have never used a telescope to see the Great Red Spot.

The two friends on the first and second floors are still talking about things using magnification. I guess they have never used telescopes, right?

Friends on the third floor, are you missing the word "ha"? Please be careful when copying and pasting~^_^

From my personal observation experience, a telescope that can visually see the Great Red Spot of Jupiter requires a telescope with an aperture of 150mm or above. The 150 horses and cows from the school astronomy club can see the Great Red Spot through the telescope. The price is about 7,000.

However, the poster’s requirement is not visual observation, but astrophotography, so you must buy a SLR camera. I have only touched on astrophotography a little bit, but you can’t afford a SLR camera without four to five thousand yuan...

In addition, you must remember that for astronomical photography, the equatorial mount must be powered. Otherwise, during the photography period, a short line will be formed due to the daily movement of celestial bodies. The 150 Ma Niu I mentioned above is an equatorial mount with an electric follower.

In short, I personally estimate that it will cost about 15,000 to get these equipment (I don’t know much about photography, so I’ll just use it as a reference...). However, apart from equipment, the most important thing is observation and photography skills.

If you don’t know how to adjust the polar axis, don’t know how to search for celestial objects, and don’t know how to set the exposure parameters, then you can probably guess the result, right?
