Cycling around the island log

It’s not just about commemorating Shi Shunsheng, the story lies in the bicycle, the scenery of Taiwan’s treasure island, and the simple joy of returning to nature.

The following is for reference:

The poster of "Etude" is definitely one that I fell in love with at first glance. After waiting for a long time, we finally arrived.

I was not disappointed. Chen Huai'en, who is also a director, screenwriter and photographer, took us on a wonderful cycling trip around the island with A Ming, a hearing-impaired young man who is about to graduate from college. The beautiful pictures, clean and diverse soundtrack, and Amin's beautiful smile not only make the trip less tiring, but also make our hearts full of content.

This movie makes me really want to be born on that island. I like the sea, but I don't know that people at the seaside can bring us more harvest. Chen Huai'en's movies have a strong humanistic complex. "The Passage", for which he was the photographer, was about what happened at the Forbidden City Research Institute, about the return of cultural relics, nation, and soul. In this "Etude", he not only showed the beautiful coastline scenery of Taiwan Island, but also interspersed many cultural and historical elements, and even involved environmental protection. All kinds of people and things were interspersed in Amin's seven-day itinerary, but he did not feel cluttered at all. What a fulfilling journey.

In terms of photography, a lot of fixed lenses are used, and the pictures are like wonderful photos, frozen forever. The journey, through Chen Huai'en's lens, is quiet yet cheerful and lively.

I think of the trip I took to Shanxi alone before graduation, the all-night train ride, and the worries along the way. I admit that I was not as safe as A Ming on that journey. I was a little scared, afraid of encountering bad people and bad things. Fortunately, after four days and five nights, I returned safely. In the ancient city of Pingyao, I rode a bicycle around the city for a whole day. No matter what people said before, the commercial atmosphere here is serious, but in my opinion, every household in the ancient city is living a stable life, or relying on tourism , or rely on others, their lives are ordinary but lazy. I love traveling alone, but there are still many things that I haven’t done or haven’t done in my lifetime that I won’t do in my lifetime if I don’t do them now.
