What focal length of SLR lens can take a long view?

Generally speaking, 135 mm ~ 180 mm is enough for shooting ordinary scenes.

A lens that is more than twice the focal length of the head is called a telescope head. The application of telescope lens in scenery film can compress the far and near perspective of the scene.
