My projector is on, but the camera has no image and no light at all. What should I do?

Hello, I do projector maintenance. Now let me analyze the problem for you.

Trouble: The light bulb and cooling fan of the projector work normally under the condition that the power cord and data signal line of the projector are correctly connected, but there is no picture projected from the computer. Or sometimes the projection screen display is incomplete.

Problem analysis: Because the light bulb and cooling fan of the projector can work normally, the possibility of projector failure is ruled out, and the computer can also be used normally, so the possibility of computer failure is also ruled out. Then, the problem may be in the signal connection line, or in the settings of the projector and computer.

Solution: Most projector users are connected with laptops, so they can't project. It may be that the external video port of the laptop is not activated. At this time, just press and hold the Fn key of the notebook computer, and then press the corresponding function key labeled LCD/CRT or display icon at the same time, as shown in the figure below to switch. If it still can't be displayed after switching, there may be something wrong with the input resolution of the computer. At this time, just adjust the display resolution and refresh rate of the computer to the range allowed by the projector, and pay attention to the setting of the height-width ratio of the projector.

Note: Sometimes, although the projection screen can be displayed, only a part of the image is displayed on the computer. At this time, it may be caused by the high output resolution of the computer, so the resolution of the computer can be reduced appropriately before projection. If the problem still exists after the above treatment, it may be that the LCD panel of the LCD projector has been damaged, or the DMD chip in the DLP projector has been damaged and needs to be sent to a professional for maintenance.

I hope it helps you!
