Tif file is TIFF (image file format).
As an image file format, this image format is more complex, with more storage contents and large storage space. Its size is three times that of a GIF image and 10 times that of a corresponding JPEG image. It was first popular on Macintosh, and now it is supported by mainstream image applications in Windows.
