1905 What's the significance of Dingjun Mountain?

This is the first documentary made by China people themselves, marking the birth of China films.

Once China's films came out, they had distinctive national characteristics. Maybe this is a match made in heaven. China's first film is actually a combination of the quintessence of Peking Opera, and the play is also a symbolic Dingjun Mountain. The famous actress Tan Xinpei became the first performing artist in China to set foot in the film industry.

Therefore, although this silent film made with only one hand-held wooden camera has no considerable copies, its prominent position in film history is unique.

Extended data:

Dingjun Mountain is adapted from chapters 70 and 7/kloc-0 of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and tells the story of the war between Shu and Wei during the Three Kingdoms period. In the 20th year of Jian 'an, that is, AD 2 15, Cao Cao pacified Hanzhong, and sent generals Xia and Zhang He to stay behind, and stationed troops at the pass of Dingjun Mountain and Tiandang Mountain.

Liu Bei took advantage of Cao Cao's precarious position and led an army to invade Hanzhong in the same year. After defeating Zhang He stationed in Tiandang Mountain, veteran Huang Zhong bravely took Dingjun Mountain. Later, he was ordered by Fazheng to take the top of Dun Mountain west of Dingjun Mountain and direct him to take Xiahou Yuan. Xia was caught off guard by Huang Zhong, thus winning Dingjun Mountain.
