There is actually a secret place of wild cherry blossoms in Fenghua, Ningbo. There are more than 500 acres of cherry blossoms like a sea of ??snow, and the cherry blossoms are as picturesque as the road.

There is a mountain next to Hengshan Reservoir in Fenghua District, Ningbo City. Because a family surnamed Ni lives in the mountain, it is called Nijiashan.

Part of Nijia Mountain has been reclaimed as terraced fields, and most of the rest is virgin forest.

The woods here are mainly composed of wild cherry blossoms. When the flowers bloom in spring, the wild cherry blossoms all over the mountains and plains look like snow from a distance.

The entire mountain is filled with birds chirping, flowers fragrant, bees flying and butterflies dancing, making it a beautiful secret place of cherry blossoms, well worth a visit.

Nijiashan is located in Shangtian Town, Fenghua District, with an altitude of 580 meters. It is an important producing area for sheep tail shoots, eel shoots and dendrobium, one of the three treasures of Fenghua.

Wild cherry trees are the main tree species on Nijia Mountain besides these products. They cover an area of ??more than 500 acres. The trees are between a few decades to hundreds of years old and have a tall crown.

When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the branches are covered with flowers, either pink or snow-white, which are beautiful under the sunlight.

There once was an ancient village at the foot of Nijiashan Mountain, which was called Nijiashan Village.

Now most of the families in this ancient village have moved out, leaving only a few houses. However, the roads leading in and out are well maintained and can be used as a transfer station for flower viewing.

Nijiashan is about 5 kilometers away from the road beside Hengshan Reservoir. Nijiashan Village is located in the middle of this winding mountain road.

The road between Hengshan Reservoir and Nijiashan Village is all cement-hardened. Although it is rugged, it is very flat and very comfortable to walk on.

The entire distance from Nijiashan Village to the top of the mountain is gravel road, which is curved and bumpy.

Nijiashan Village has an ancient path to the Nijiashan Cherry Blossom Forest. Those with hiking experience can take this path. For unfamiliar tourists, it is recommended to go up the mountain along the winding road in front of the village.

This road starts from the entrance of Hengshan Reservoir. A guide sign will be placed on the roadside at every other section. Tourists can reach the top of the mountain by following the map.

After arriving at the mountain, you will see a sign on the side of the road with the words "check-in place" written on it. Don't stop, continue walking along the road ahead into the mountain, and then you will see a There are two signs nailed to the cherry blossom tree, which read "check-in place" and "best viewing point" respectively.

This is the best viewing position. Standing under the tree and looking towards the valley, the blue sky is like the sea, the cherry blossoms are like snow, and the scenery is wonderful.

There is a road further ahead from here, but there are trees and lush grass along the way, and in some places there is no obvious road.

Many tourists stood here and took some photos before going home.

If you do this, you will miss a lot of beautiful scenery.

From the best viewing point to the top of the mountain, there is a more rugged ancient road, full of cherry blossoms along the way, which is a real cherry blossom road.

The first section of this road is a mechanical farming road, but there are few cars driving on it anymore, and the road is full of fallen leaves and weeds.

After the mechanical plowing road is the Yangchang Ancient Road. The road has not been artificially constructed, and there are no stone steps. It is basically in a primitive state. The road is covered with grass and there are lush forests and bamboos on both sides.

The Cherry Blossom Road is still an undeveloped wild mountain. Few people come here. The mountain is very quiet, but there are cherry blossoms along the way.

These cherry blossoms are truly primitive tree species. The trunks follow the shape of the tree, and the branches are thin and slender. However, the trees are full of flowers, pink as clouds and as white as snow, some beside them and some above their heads.

Mountains and flowers complement each other beautifully.

This can be called a sea of ??cherry blossoms that can be reserved. It is more artistic and fun than the Ningbo Cherry Blossom Park, which is crowded with tourists.

However, it is too quiet here, and some places can only accommodate one person. It is not recommended to go alone. It is best to go together with two or three people.

It should be noted that there are two Nijiashan Villages in Fenghua District, one in Xikou Town and one in Shangtian Street. The Nijiashan Village where the cherry blossom path is located is in Shangtian Town and south of Hengshan Reservoir.

Don’t choose the wrong place when navigating, otherwise you will go in the wrong direction.
