Wang Duo's most classic running script masterpiece

Wang Duo's most classic masterpieces of running script, The Axis of Running Script Poetry and The Axis of Giving Five Words.

The book Axis of Running Script Poems was written in the first year of Hong Guang in Ming Dynasty (1645), that is, the second year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty. At the time of national disaster and family changes, he must have unspeakable taste and endless helplessness in his heart. There are many words in the works that are connected with each other continuously, ranging from vigorous and broad, tall and charming, to natural and unrestrained, tactful and mellow of the two kings. Through Mi Fei, he brought the characteristics of "singles" to the extreme. In particular, the last "I don't want to go home like smoke", the characters are ups and downs, vertical and horizontal and elegant, which is the realm of pen-end attention and pen-breaking.

Five-word Axis of Giving and Giving was written in the eighth year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (165 1). At this time, Wang Duo, who had been taking medicine for illness, lived at home and died on March 18 of the following year. Therefore, this painting was made by Wang Duo in his later years, which shows that his calligraphy art has reached perfection. But this calligraphy shows no signs of aging, and Changhong's brushwork has never diminished. This work was later spread to Japan and was collected by Kudo Zhuangping's family. It was compiled by Murakami Santo into The Complete Works of Taoist Books and Wang Duo's Collection of Calligraphy Banners.
