In our life, we can always see some fishing enthusiasts, who often go fishing by the lake with three or five friends. Some enthusiasts will also equip themselves with professional fishing rods, and fishing for a whole day. Many middle-aged and elderly people also like fishing very much. It is also a good choice for them to have an elegant place to spend their time. In Henan, an old farmer who often fished accidentally caught a treasure during a fishing trip.
For the old farmers, fishing is more Buddhist. It doesn't matter whether you catch it or not. One day, as usual, he dropped the hook and sat quietly. After a while, the hook suddenly sank. He quickly closed the pole and felt that the hook was still heavy. This startled the old man. He thought he should have caught a big fish and quickly brought it back. During the closing, he didn't see how the fish struggled. As the hook gradually surfaced, he found that the hook was not a fish, but a strange thing.
What I caught at first was a mass of black mud, which seemed to contain mystery. After he cleaned up the mud, he could roughly see the shape of a turtle. Four arrows are unevenly inserted in the tortoise shell. The old man felt very strange, so he took this "iron turtle" home and preserved it.
He doesn't know what this object is for, but he thinks it may be a cultural relic, so he doesn't know how to deal with it at present. Later, he went on a treasure hunt program and asked experts to identify him. With the opportunity of expert appraisal, he also wanted to know where this "iron turtle" came from.
Experts also attach great importance to this cultural relic. After careful identification, they thought the tortoise was a bronze giant, bigger than the tortoise. According to the inscription above, it should belong to Shang Dynasty. In the Shang dynasty, there was no such record in the history books. People often make corresponding artifacts to reflect what happened.
For example, this bronze giant salamander, judging from its shape and inscription on the back, records the hunting activities of Shang Zhouwang and his courtiers in Henan more than 3000 years ago. Shang Zhouwang saw a giant salamander while hunting, so he fired four arrows, all of which hit. The craftsman built this object and engraved an inscription on it to record what happened at that time.
Later, after several historical changes, this giant salamander appeared in the river for some reason and was caught by the old man. This seems to be a kind of fate, so that this giant salamander appears in people's field of vision with the help of the old man. Experts also gave an estimate that this bronze giant salamander is very valuable, which should be no less than1800 million yuan. When the old man learned that he had caught a treasure of1800 million yuan, he did not keep it for himself, but actively donated it to the country. His honest behavior of voluntarily handing in cultural relics deserves our study and respect.
