What's the sound of an amateur 8mm film camera?
Because the process of converting audio signal directly into optical signal is very complicated and cannot be modified, all films (including 8MM, 16MM, 35MM) are recorded separately by sound and picture. Even if it is synchronous recording, the sound should be recorded on the synchronous recorder, and then converted into optical recording signals and synthesized on the film. We see that when making a movie, we have to "beat the board" in front of each shot, which is to align the sound and picture to be processed later. Nowadays, movies have digital sound reproduction, but they still need sound and picture alignment.
It is conceivable that if there is an 8MM synchronous optical recording film camera in the world, the cost of this machine will be much higher than that of 35MM film camera, and the image quality will be much lower than that of 35MM film camera. Who would buy such a machine?
The film is called "material". After the material is available, it should be made into a copy, then cut into samples, exposed, dimmed and copied to make a standard copy, and finally made into a distribution copy together with the standard copy.
The release copy is used in the screening, not the original film.
