Eight kinds of light that photography must learn _ _
I. Types of light sources
1. Natural light:
Natural light sources generally refer to all natural light sources, such as sunlight, moonlight and aurora. Natural light shooting is the most commonly used in daily life.
2. Ambient light:
The light sources of ambient light include natural light, such as sunny/cloudy light sources and sunset light sources, but also include artificial light, such as street lamps at night and indoor lighting. All of the above are ambient light.
3, artificial light:
Generally speaking, the light generated by photographers with the help of equipment or instruments, such as flashlights, incandescent lamps, led lights, etc., belong to artificial light. We will use artificial light when the shooting environment is insufficient or we need to shoot.
Second, the quality of the light source.
1, strong light:
Of light being particularly strong:
① When shooting under strong light, be sure to avoid the model facing the light.
② When the light is particularly strong, you can control the exposure with a reducing mirror.
③ Choosing a darker background can better highlight the subject.
2. Low light:
Generally refers to dark light, such as early morning or evening:
① The camera should be set with large aperture and high sensitivity.
② It is suggested that the camera should set spot metering when shooting in low light environment.
3, strong light: generally refers to direct light, such as noon 12 of the sun, with obvious shadows and tough light, which is not suitable for taking portraits.
4, soft light: generally refers to indirect light, such as cloudy days, no obvious shadows, soft light, suitable for portrait shooting.
Orientation of light source: Under different light levels, the lighting effect will be different.
Natural light shooting schedule:
Sunrise (5: 00 ~ 6: 00) is suitable for shooting scenery;
Early morning (6: 00 ~ 8: 00) is suitable for shooting scenery;
Portrait scenery can be taken in the morning (8: 00 ~10: 00);
Portrait scenery can be taken in the morning (10: 00 ~11:00);
Noon (11:00 ~12: 00) is not suitable for taking pictures;
Noon (12: 00 ~ 15: 00) is not suitable for taking pictures;
Portrait scenery can be taken in the afternoon (15: 00 ~17: 00);
At night (17: 00 ~ 18: 00), take portraits of scenery or backlight;
Take a sunset or silhouette at sunset (18: 00 ~ 19: 00).
