On the balance in photographic composition

There are many methods of photographic composition, such as dichotomy, trisection, symmetry, directrix, golden section and so on, but beginners have learned and applied them to their own photos, only to find that some photos look beautiful after using a certain composition method, but some photos are ordinary or even ugly although they have composition. Why?

Because of the lack of balance, balance gives people a sense of stability and comfort, one is horizontal and vertical balance, and the other is based on the principle of leverage. As I said before, move the weighing weight by different distances, and the reading after weighing is the weight of the object at the other end.

In reality, the shape, size and texture of an object will have a sense of weight, and the color and brightness of the object will also give people a different sense of weight. The brighter the color, the lighter the texture and the darker the color ... All kinds of factors will be taken into account to balance the picture through different combinations. For example, a large light color on the left and a small dark color on the right will form a balance.

And where do you start when you first start learning? Look through the good photos you have taken in the past and analyze where they are, what kind of composition you are good at, how to balance the scenery in the picture, and what did you see first? Then in the future shooting, I will continue to explore and improve, thus forming my own style.

What I'm talking about today is a method to improve composition, which needs everyone to figure out and play freely, so it's not suitable for painting.
