Pigeons are active, so we need to take snapshots, so the shutter must be fast, but only if you have enough light. I suggest you set the shooting mode to A, that is, aperture priority, so that you can only set the aperture of your camera, and the camera will measure the exposure of the image obtained by the shutter according to the aperture you set. So when there is enough light (the person in the film puts the pigeon in a white box and then uses the flash), the light is very sufficient, so you can adjust the aperture to the maximum, so your shutter speed will be very fast, maybe 1/2000 seconds. If the influence is too exposed, adjust the aperture slightly and try again, step by step.
