The location of wedding photography is often indoors, and the environment is relatively cramped. It's easy to leave a shadow on the wall behind the character with a straight flash. It's ugly! ! So in this case, photographers often flash through the reflection of the ceiling or wall, so as to get a softer and more natural effect!

However, reflective flash also requires conditions. The ceiling is too high or the color is too dark, which will affect the use effect If you use reflective flash, it will increase the flash distance, so exposure value should make corresponding adjustments!

Using the ceiling to reflect the flash, it is best to only take close-ups of the upper body or the human head. If you want to get better results, you can insert a business card above the flash, which will make the light more uniform! It is recommended not to pat the whole body, otherwise it is likely to happen. If you really want to shoot, you can use wall reflection or use off-camera flash.
