Hide the movie plot of the camera

The title of the film Caché comes from the hidden camera in the film. We don't know who is threatening the hero's life, but this camera has always existed. Some people say that director Hannick is playing "Cache" with the audience. In this regard, the director believes that the objective authenticity of the media is questionable. In a sense, this is a doubt about the film itself, because although all the audience know that what is on the screen is not true, for most people, images are still regarded as a substitute for almost unquestionable truth in the subconscious. In the film, the hero's occupation is also set as a TV presenter, and in his life, images have become a habit. But he can't see the man behind the hidden camera, and his familiar daily life becomes strange in the image. Marc Cerisuelo, a French scholar, called this kind of film which shifted the audience's attention to the film itself a "metafilm" in his book Hollywood Times. Such movies are not uncommon in the history of movies. Some critics think that this is just a false question, because for the audience, the "truth" of the image is just a hypothetical contract.
