In practical application, we often use these diagonal combination variants.

Variant 1: The main body extends diagonally, but it does not run through the whole picture, but comes to an abrupt end in the middle of the picture. Arrange the lines to extend downward from the upper left corner. This composition conforms to the order and law, and the picture can show a calm and natural feeling.

Variant 2: The main body may run through the horizontal width of the whole picture, but it is not strictly distributed on the diagonal of the whole picture. As shown in the figure below, one end of the guide line is in the corner, but the other end is in the middle of the picture, not along the diagonal:

Variant 3: The main body is located in the middle and spread diagonally, but the upper and lower ends are not connected with the picture frame. As shown below, the ship is arranged in the middle of the picture, and the direction of the hull conforms to people's visual habits and is not rigid.

Variant 4: In nature, the subject is not necessarily a straight line, but a curve. As long as the main body extends diagonally in the trend, it can be regarded as a variant of diagonal composition.

Variant 5: A single object has no extension trend, but the connecting lines between multiple objects extend diagonally.

These variations are only different from the standard diagonal composition in form, but they are similar in effect, but a little different in degree, which is worthy of our good application.

These near diagonal compositions are only different from the standard diagonal composition in form, and the actual effect is similar. There is no need to pursue the standard diagonal composition.
