What are the differences between Sony 6400, 6400L and 6400M?

1. The sets are different

6400 refers to a single body.

6400L refers to the standard single lens set.

6400M refers to the travel portable set.

2. The lenses are different

The 6400 comes with a lens.

6400L with 16-50 lens.

6400M comes with 18-135 lens.

3. Differences in appearance

A6400 with different lens sets:

6400, purely stand-alone, without lens.

The 6400L, paired with an E16-50 lens, is the most common kit.

6400M, paired with an E18-135 lens, is a package that can take you anywhere in the world.

What's new and how it compares

Sony's a6400 is almost identical to the previous a6300 on the outside, but there are quite a few improvements on the inside. So while this doesn't satisfy our requirements for the controls and ergonomics of the a6x00 series, it at least makes the a6400 the best camera in the lineup to date.
