With the development of social material culture, in recent years, a mass cultural activity of loving, searching, hiding, appreciating and tasting stones is quietly emerging in urban and rural areas of Shanghai. The Shi Yuhua market on Jiangyin Road is crowded and very lively. The antique market and Yuyuan Mall on Dongtai Road are gold mines for Chinese and foreign stone lovers. There are many people who spend a lot of money on bloodstone, and there are also many people who collect 10 thousand pieces of land. At the end of 1989, "Shanghai Love Stone Association" was formally established. Under the promotion of the Association, many ornamental stone exhibitions have been held successively, such as the First Shanghai Stone Exhibition, Yuhua Stone Exhibition, Fuxing Park Stone Exhibition and Chongming County Stone Exhibition, which have played a positive role in promoting the development of ornamental stone culture in Shanghai. 1.992 Around the National Day, Shanghai Aishi Association cooperated with relevant departments to hold ornamental stone exhibitions in Huangpu District Cultural Center, People's Park and Jiading Qiuxiapu Park, which attracted thousands of visitors. In the 1990s, a personal museum of ornamental stones appeared in Shanghai. Mr. Wang Guisheng's Tibetan stones have won many awards in various stone exhibitions; Mr. Guo Dong, the mayor of nanxiang town, Jiading District, lived in the early days of the founding of New China. He was not only fond of calligraphy, but also good at poetry creation. He is also a "stone fan". The houses, courtyards and stadiums are full of stones, and there are more than 100 famous inkstones, including Gu Yan.
