Where is Lijing Community?

Lijing Community in Jiading Town, Jiading District, Shanghai was established in August. 1997. Lijing Community is located in the southwest of Tacheng Road, Jiading Town, Jiading District, Shanghai, east of Chengzhong Road and west of Hu Yi Highway. It is composed of five natural communities, with a building area of 210.3 million square meters. At present, there are 2 193 households and 5,430 residents in five natural communities in Lijing Community, with 178 buildings, including 3 characteristic buildings, 84 civilized buildings and 2 demonstration buildings in party member.

Lijing Community Office and Affairs Center is located in Lijing Community, Lane 475, Tacheng Road. There are office and service facilities such as neighborhood committee office, party member activity room, multifunctional recreation room, reading room, health service station and Oriental Information Park in the community. In May 2005, the city's first cultural activity service station was established here. The cultural service station spontaneously set up ten cultural and sports teams, including fashion team, handicraft team, dance team and photography team, which improved the quality of life and civilization of residents. In the same year, Jiading Town Street Rehabilitation Activity Center located in Lijing Community was established and opened, with table tennis room, fitness rehabilitation equipment and multi-functional classrooms. It has brought joy and gospel to many disabled people and enjoyed resources. Lijing Community uses these service facilities, fitness equipment and venues to organize residents to hold national fitness games and various parties. The cohesion of the community family has also been further enhanced, forming a good situation of full participation and building a harmonious community. At present, there are 36 units in Lijing Community, including China Construction Bank, Shanghai University, Jiading Radio and Television Station and Xinwangfu Hotel, among which 12 units have party organizations and 24 new economic and social organizations. It is a multifunctional new community integrating party and government, culture, education, finance, commerce, broadcasting and entertainment. Community party organizations are an important force in community party building. The General Party Branch of Lijing Community has four branches, party member 105 and party member 186. Through community building activities, the General Party Branch of the community strengthens the awareness of community members of "I live in the community and serve the community", and basically achieves community party building, management, resource enjoyment, civilization creation, problem solving and activity development, which has really taken shape.

In recent years, under the correct leadership of Jiading Town Street Party Working Committee and Office, and with the active cooperation and participation of community residents, Lijing Community has successively won the honorary titles of Shanghai Civilized Community, Safe Community, Community Construction Demonstration Neighborhood Committee and Patriotic Health Advanced Unit. Lijing Community is becoming a quiet, clean, comfortable, beautiful and harmonious civilized community.
