2. Introduction to the film

A Letter to Juliet is directed by Gary Vinnik, written by jose rivera and Tim Sullivan, and co-starred by Amanda Seyfried, Chris Egan and vanessa redgrave. The film was released in the United States on May 4th, 20 10.

The film tells the story of Sophie Hall, an American girl, and Victor, her fiance, who were on their honeymoon in Italy, accidentally found a letter written by Claire Smith to Juliet 50 years ago on the wishing wall in Verona, and tried to help Claire find the lover she lost in that year and began her love-seeking journey.
