I have been to Xiamen twice and Gulangyu Island twice. Although Gulangyu is crowded. But I like the atmosphere there very much, and there is a little fresh breath everywhere.

Gulangyu Island is so small that no motor vehicle can pass on it. So when I go to Gulangyu, I have to walk all the way. But to travel is to take a look. It's good to slow down and feel the atmosphere there.

(1) Going to Gulangyu for the first time

We went to the busiest pedestrian street, and there were people everywhere. We are all very happy. The first time I saw the popular "Zhang Sanfeng milk tea" on the Internet, other small shops shared many snacks with colleagues. Stroll around and pat, each store has its own style. There are oil paintings hanging in the street. Listening to street performers singing Gulangyu songs, I still remember the lyrics "The sea around Gulangyu is boundless".

(2) Going to Gulangyu for the second time

After arriving in Gulangyu, we wandered all the way, taking pictures at the door of every store and seeing every small shop. When I was very tired at noon, I walked into a McDonald's and found that even McDonald's was full of Gulangyu temperament. The table is full of all kinds of "small fresh" sentences. I told my friends that this is really a new place.

In the afternoon, I was tired from walking. We found a quiet big lawn, where there happened to be recliners. Two people sit quietly on it. Sometimes chatting, sometimes quiet. Very comfortable.

The sun is setting, and we leave Gulangyu in the afterglow of the setting sun. When I walked to the seaside, Jonathan Lee's song "I spent half a year's savings for you and traveled across the ocean to see you" suddenly came. In the night wind, we are all intoxicated with singing.

(3) Gulangyu impression

Although Gulangyu is also a small island full of commercial flavor, it is still different from other places. There are many foreign buildings. It used to be the seat of many foreign consulates, with various architectural styles and customs. It is also full of music and is called "Piano Island". There are many famous musicians on the island. Every shop on Gulangyu Island has its own characteristics. The front door is beautifully decorated, and girls are eager to take pictures. I went there twice, and my good friend and my husband went there again last year.
