Photographers, ordinary people

You only see the same scene, the same lens, but you can't see the different places. This is a typical layman watching the excitement and an expert watching the doorway. The differences include:

Through different camera settings, the camera can set shooting parameters, including aperture, shutter, ISO, metering mode, exposure compensation, focusing, whether to use flash, file format (RAW or JPG) and so on. These different combinations can achieve different depth of field, image quality and many other subtle different effects. A photographer can make the best settings according to the scene, his own experience and what he wants to express, while ordinary people usually don't even know what the aperture shutter is, and usually only know to shoot in a fool mode such as P file.

Photographers and ordinary people have different grasp of light. Photographers will observe the lighting conditions at the shooting scene and take advantage of them. If the lighting at the scene is not ideal, the photographer will consider using a flashlight or reflector to decorate the lighting at the scene. Ordinary people generally don't care about lighting, backlighting and metering, but only know to press the shutter;

The photographer's shooting angle is changeable. Photographers will choose low position, high position or general position according to the needs of expressiveness, and will consider different shooting angles. And ordinary people usually stand and shoot, only knowing to press the shutter.

Photographers are better at composition. Photographers can make flexible composition according to the characteristics of the shooting scene, and will consider where to put the subject in the photo, which is more prominent and focused. But most people usually think that it is ok to frame the lens in the middle of the picture.

The photographer's post-production is more professional. Whether in the film age or the digital age, it is usually necessary to make some post-modification to the photos. But ordinary people not only often ignore this piece, but also feel proud that their pictures have not been ps, which is really ridiculous.

Photographers have higher requirements for pictures. Ordinary people shoot a beautiful scene continuously, and the photographer may be dissatisfied and unwilling to press the shutter. He is still waiting for some climax, such as a white cloud, a group of birds or a lonely person passing by. Photographers know what kind of photos are not ordinary, but wonderful.

All of the above are technical. In fact, photographers will also express their pictures in a variety of styles at the psychological and customary levels. These are the realms that can only be achieved through long-term photography study and practice and a lot of reading.
