Where to travel near Baotou?
Zhuanlongcang Scientific Resort, Zhuanlongcang Scientific Resort, is located on the right bank of the exit of Liubao Yaozi River (called Botuo River in ancient times) outside the east gate of Donghe District, in the foothills about 100 meters south of Baotou Sanatorium in Inner Mongolia. There are towering old trees, Shan Qi water monsters, elegant environment and pleasant scenery, which are important scenic spots in the urban area. 1964 was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit at the autonomous region level. This cultural relic was severely damaged during the Cultural Revolution. In recent years, some buildings have been renovated and become one of the important tourist attractions in Baotou.
Baiyun Obo Prairie travels northbound by bus from Baotou and enters Baiyun Obo Prairie after passing Guyang County. Here, the grassland is vast, the water plants are abundant, the cattle and sheep flock, and the herdsmen ride horses and whip from time to time. At 0/48km from Bai Bao Highway/KLOC-,there is a Mongolian yurt group, which is a tourist spot set up by Baiyun District Government-Baiyun Obo Aili (Village). There are many yurts here, which are fully equipped and can provide accommodation services for guests. Visitors can taste Mongolian national cream, fried rice, roast whole sheep, roast leg of lamb and braised pork here.
Xiangshawan Xiangshawan Tourist Area is located in Dalat Banner, Ordos, 50 kilometers south of Baotou City, featuring desert landscape and sand-sounding wonders, as well as sand lakes, sand oases, Mongolian customs and other landscapes. The sand dunes here are distributed continuously and the scenery is spectacular. The bright yellow desert is endless. There is a crescent-shaped Shawan with a length of 500 meters from east to west in the scenic spot. The height of the dune is110m, and the slope is 40 degrees. When sliding down from the top of the dune, the sand will make a roar, forming a famous "ringing sand".
Wudangzhao Wudangzhao is located 70 kilometers northeast of Baotou, which is the only complete Lamaism temple in Inner Mongolia. "Wudang" means "willow" in Mongolian, and it is named after the lush willow trees in Wudang ditch where the temple is located. The most attractive thing about Wudangzhao is its Tibetan architecture. It is based on Tashilhunpo Temple in Tibet. All the temples in the temple are in the traditional Tibetan mode, with flat roofs and white walls. The six halls overlap and are very spectacular. Among them, sogou Qin Dou Palace is the most important temple in Zhaonei.
Genghis Khan Mausoleum Genghis Khan Mausoleum is located in Ejinhoro Banner, Ordos City, at 180 km south of Baotou. Today's cemetery was built in 1954, which is one of the national key cultural relics protection units. Genghis Khan fought all his life and once extended Mongolia's territory westward to Central Asia. His mausoleum is large in scale and magnificent in architecture, just like his impressive record, which is unforgettable. The main building of the mausoleum is three Mongolian-style halls, and there is a statue of Genghis Khan about 5 meters high in the main hall.
Zhaojun Island Zhaojun Island is located about 30 kilometers south of Baotou City, facing the Yellow River in the south, facing the Zhaojun Tomb in Ordos across the river, and the other three sides are surrounded by tributaries of the Yellow River. Because there is a statue of Zhaojun holding a pipa on the island, it is named. Zhaojun Island is 4 kilometers long from east to west and 2.5 kilometers wide from north to south. The natural environment on the island is beautiful. When you climb the viewing building, you can see the vast Yellow River in the south and the dense reeds in the north. In the process of boating, tourists can actually enjoy the scenery of Jiangnan water town. The island is rich in animal and plant resources.
Bailing Temple Bailing Temple is located in Bailing Temple Town, Anhe Banner, Maoming, Darhan. Founded in the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty, it was originally named Guangfu Temple. Later, because the builder of the temple was Baylor, the right-wing banner of Raul, it was usually called Baylor Temple. Bailing Temple is homophonic, and the scenery around the temple is beautiful. In front of the temple is a crystal clear river, and the grass on both sides of the river is covered with all kinds of unknown wild flowers. When the weather is fine, there are often groups of larks singing tactfully nearby, and the name of Bailing Temple has been handed down.
Mei Daizhao Mei Daizhao, located 80 kilometers east of Baotou City, was founded in the Qinglong period of the Ming Dynasty. It is an important center for Buddhism to be introduced into Mongolia. Meidaizhao is surrounded by mountains and waters with pleasant scenery and unique architectural style. It is built by imitating the Chinese style of the Central Plains and combining the Mongolian and Tibetan styles. It is a Lama Temple with "the city and the temple are integrated, and people and buddhas live together". With a total area of about 4,000 square meters, there are a large number of murals in the temple, such as the historical mural of Sakyamuni in the Ursa Major Hall and the mural depicting the scene of Mongolian aristocrats worshipping Buddha.
Longquan Temple: Located outside the East Gate of Donghe District, the temple is expected to have a harmonious pavilion. Boarding Wanghe Pavilion, you can have a panoramic view of the Jiuqu Yellow River.
Ashan Neolithic Site: Located on the ridges on both sides of Gekenigou, Ashan Goumen Village, 7.5km east of Baotou City. Through this website, people can see the shadow of clan commune.
Ancient Great Wall Sites: Inner Mongolia has the largest number of Great Wall sites in China, covering the Warring States, Qin and Han Dynasties, Northern Wei Dynasty, Northern Qi Dynasty, Sui Dynasty, Jin Dynasty and Ming Dynasty, with a length of more than 30,000 kilometers. In da miao cun, Baotou, there is a long embankment made of earth, one or two meters high and four or five meters low. If it is intermittent, it is tortuous.
