Know the time
"Time" has a broad sense and a narrow sense. Broadly speaking, it refers to seasonal spring, summer, autumn and winter. As we all know, flowers and trees that decorate nature with colorful colors change with the weather and climate. Therefore, the scenery of the same place has different scenery characteristics in four seasons, such as Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan and Huangshan in Anhui, and it presents various postures and is unpredictable with the change of seasonal climate. Even the clouds floating in the sky are spectacular wonders, and the clouds are directly related to rain and fog. This is a common sight in nature, but the shapes and potentials of clouds and rain are actually different in four seasons. Therefore, in order to express nature and have typical scenery, we must carefully analyze and deeply understand this broad sense of "time" in order to effectively grasp the correct time.
In a narrow sense, "time" refers to a day from morning to dusk, even at night. The most important condition for photography is light source, but the light source for shooting natural scenery is the only sunshine. Therefore, this unique light source is beyond the photographer's control, so we should make good use of it. First of all, we should understand the direction and source of seasonal light and the possible places and positions of projection. Generally, we only know that the sun rises and sets in the west, but in fact, the rising and falling direction moves with the seasons, so the change of light also directly affects the effect of the picture. In winter, the sun rises in the south and the projection is in the north. However, in summer, the sun rises in the north and shoots south. Their positions change very little, just like the sun rises from due east in a year, with only two days * * * March 2 1 vernal equinox and September 23 * * *, with a daily change of 0.258 degrees.
The influence of light source on scenery, even if it is only a slight difference, is very different. Therefore, the projection direction of the only reliable sunlight for shooting natural scenery is not only clear, but also absolutely important.
observe the situation
It refers to observing the overall environment and situation of the shooting scene. As we all know, when we are in the embrace of nature, our eyes are full of scenery and chaos. Those should be deleted and those should be selected. As for the shooting location and the best viewing angle, we can't make a decision in a hurry. To this end, we must be careful and patient, not tired of it, nor afraid of it, and discuss it from any position and angle. In-depth observation and silent observation, combined with accumulated experience, choose the ideal angle to shoot the scenery that has been drawn up in your mind, and then carefully cut it. The so-called tailoring means paying attention to the smallest place and not neglecting it. No matter what grass, stone, branch or leaf it is, it should be included in the scope of scrutiny. Because those seemingly insignificant things and unimportant places in the open environment often play an extreme role in construction and destruction when it comes to the perfect requirements of a work. Therefore, the scene selection and shooting should be quite detailed. Huang, a painter, said, "To visit the mountains and play with water, we should not only move the sky, but also calm the old monk." It means that we should have great enthusiasm for the scenery in front of us, walk around tirelessly, observe and discover the scenery, and then think about it often, get to know the scenery in front of us, so as to understand these scenery. The painters also said, "There are many kinds of peaks, so there are many kinds of weather. Just like a person, there are hundreds of people. " Therefore, when we observe the mountain landscape, we don't just stay on the surface, but pay more attention to the momentum and local characteristics of the mountain landscape. Hao Jing, a painter of the Five Dynasties, said, "Seek the wonderful and create the true". Wonderful means objective existence, and seeking is the author's subjective effort. These are the experiences of previous artists, which is an insult to us.
Express its essence
When it comes to expressing its essence, we all know that everything has its unique essence, especially those who shoot natural scenery should deeply understand the essence of flowers, grass, wood, stones and mud that fill the whole natural environment, and then be familiar with and master its essence, so as to be effectively reproduced in pictures and photos. In the narrative of our photography, the so-called "texture" means that when expressing a scene or thing, it is not just the outline of its appearance, but the important purpose is to express a kind of texture, which has both bone and meat.
Show its strength.
The word "Wei" has a wide range of meanings, showing majesty, legend and so on. When shooting mountains and towering trees, we can use the lens angle to realize the composition of "Wei", or we can use the method of contrast to make "Wei" more obvious. Another meaning of "Wei" can also be extended to beauty, highlighting the most beautiful scenery, and it is also within a category of "Wei". So, how do we take pictures of the scenery to see its "greatness"? The key is to grasp the characteristics and style of the landscape.
Huangshan, for example, has four characteristics: sea of clouds, clouds, strange pines and strange rocks. But when we look at the big picture, there will be 36 peaks and 36 small peaks, each with its own strange risks; If we look a little farther, there will be many gloomy forests and quiet and deep valleys. If you pull your eyes back to your side, there will be many free small scenes, all of which are very charming.
Writing skills
Looking for scenery
The first step in composition is to find an attractive landscape. Photography is not simply picking up the camera and pressing the shutter. Before you press the shutter, you should ask yourself, what attracted you to this scene? Is it a color? Cloud? Reflection? Or sunset? After determining the theme, the next step is how to express it. Usually, the subject should be large enough to attract attention. If the subject is too small, it can't be a subject. At this time, it is necessary to use a longer focal length or post-cutting to deal with it.
Strange phenomena between nature can easily become attractive subjects. It was a rainy evening, and the author noticed that there were no clouds where the sun set, so he guessed that there might be a rainbow, so he rushed to the park to take this rare scene.
Avoid centering
The most common mistake that beginners make is to put the most attractive scenery in the middle. Indeed, the scenery in the middle is the easiest to attract people's attention, but a good photo should attract readers' attention and guide them to other places. If an attractive object is placed in the middle, it is easy to focus only on that object and make the picture dull. At the same time, try not to put the horizontal line in the middle of the picture, because it will easily lead to unclear priorities and not knowing whether to express the sky or the ground. But sometimes when the sky and the ground are equally important, the horizontal line will be placed in the middle.
Three-point rule of composition
Since we want to avoid being caught in the middle, we should know the so-called "third law", also known as "golden section" and "nine squares". Trigonometry is the basic principle of composition, which means: draw two horizontal lines at 1/3 and 2/3 horizontally, and draw two vertical lines at 1/3 and 2/3 vertically, and then try to put the scene at the intersection point.
Pay attention to this photo. The position of the cow in front is on the right 1/3 and under 1/3 of the figure. If you put it in the middle, it will be too conspicuous and make the picture look dull. The horizontal line of this photo is a little in the middle, and the author thinks it has little influence on the composition, because the clouds and the grass cows below are indispensable elements.
Choose to shoot the scenery
Large depth of field
Good photos are clear and unambiguous, and in order to ensure the photographic effect, large depth of field is usually used. Landscape photography includes all natural scenery. We must understand and observe to grasp the characteristics and connotation of local scenery.
policy
Guide lines are often used in landscape photography. The guide line can be regarded as a way to guide the reader into the screen and introduce the reader's eyes into the screen. Such as: roads, streams, bridges, water waves, shadows and so on.
prospect
The world we take is three-dimensional, but the photos are two-dimensional. In order to show the depth of a photo, foreground shooting plays an important role. That is, the near is great and the far is small. Foreground also plays the role of guiding line, highlighting the prospect and narrowing the prospect. Generally speaking, it is best to use a lens below 28 mm. So which writing object can be used as the foreground? For example: a flower, artificial object, tree, stone, etc. It is good to have a harmonious picture.
Morning glow and sunset glow
When a windy and dizzy movie should be emphasized. In the early morning, the prospect is hazy under the thick fog. At this time, the sun comes out from the east, scattering light through the morning fog, and it has a fresh and pleasing feeling of striving for progress. In the evening, the fiery red sunset gives off gorgeous light, covering the surrounding scenery with a thick color filter, making the atmosphere of the shooting picture more rich and infectious. When shooting urban landscape and industrial scenery, night lights can be used to render the atmosphere of night activities.
Artistic conception of artistic works
Good works are often full of artistic conception, which should be a shooting technique: negative space, that is, the space between objects, and the negative space expression technique is relatively isolated. Shooting can be done in bad weather conditions, such as fog and heavy rain.
