How to take dynamic photos with micro-single photography technique
Shooting technique 1: How to focus on a moving subject accurately?
Choosing AF-C focusing mode is more accurate.
When shooting a moving scene, the most critical point is how to focus the subject accurately! Especially when the subject is not moving on the plane, it is not enough to use AF-S mode (single focus mode). When shooting, we might as well change the focus mode to AF-C mode (continuous autofocus mode). When the shutter button is half pressed, the focus will be continuously focused on the moving subject. What the photographer needs to do is to press the shutter at the right time.
When shooting birds, the biggest difficulty is focusing. It is recommended to use AF-C (continuous autofocus mode) for shooting. As long as the required focus point is set, the focus point will focus continuously according to the position change of seabirds, and just press the shutter when necessary.
Prompt 1: Choose the appropriate exposure compensation when shooting back.
When shooting birds, we often shoot the birds upside down with the sky as the background. On a sunny day, the pictures taken will be underexposed. If the exposure compensation is properly increased, the sky will appear brighter, which can set off the posture of birds.
Tip 2: Combine multiple actions into a photo with post-software
Support tripod, shooting in continuous shooting mode with the same composition. Freeze multiple moments of the subject, and then combine multiple photos into one photo with sPhotoshop software, and you will get a very interesting picture.
Shooting skill 2: freeze the wonderful moment
Fast braking is faster than static braking.
S file (shutter priority mode) is the most suitable exposure mode for shooting dynamic themes. Whether it is the moment when the subject moves or the dynamic atmosphere, it can be realized intuitively by adjusting the shutter speed. When freezing a moment of a moving subject, the shutter speed should be increased; If you want to get dynamic blur, you must lower the shutter speed. The shutter speed should be set according to the moving speed of the subject.
When using S-files to shoot waterfalls, running water and other scenery, it can more intuitively cooperate with the photographer's intention. Through the high-speed shutter, the photos can show splashing water. Although the picture is still, it is enough for the viewer to feel how spectacular the waterfall is, and even feel the rumble of water.
The flying chair in the playground rotates rapidly, and the fast-moving objects can be solidified in the picture by using the high-speed shutter. If the subject moves faster and faster, you need to adjust the shutter speed immediately if you want to shoot clearly.
In addition to freezing the moments in the picture, you can also take a dynamic picture with a slow shutter. For example, this photo of horse racing is to slow down the shutter speed to make the scene in the picture clear, and only the speeding horse racing is blurred, making the picture more dynamic.
When shooting a lively night market, a slow shutter is often used, which can make the picture flow and present a lively and prosperous atmosphere.
Please use different continuous shooting modes for different sports.
When shooting moving subjects, we should make more use of the high-speed continuous shooting function, especially when the shooting success rate cannot be guaranteed. Sony cameras have two continuous shooting modes:
1) Normal continuous shooting mode opened through the menu in shooting modes such as P/A/S/M/AUTO. With AF-C (continuous autofocus mode) focusing mode, even if the distance between the subject and the camera is constantly changing, it will focus in time to ensure that every photo in continuous shooting is clear.
2) The other is the high-speed continuous shooting mode with the mode dial turned on. This mode can record almost every state of the subject, but even if AF-C focusing mode is used, the focus will only be based on the first photo, and then it will not be refocused according to the position change of the subject, so it is suitable for shooting scenes where the distance between the subject and the camera is almost constant.
Dancing girls, skirts also swing with the dance. If you want to shoot the most beautiful posture of girls in this dance, you can choose high-speed continuous shooting mode, and the continuous shooting speed of 12 frames per second is enough to ensure the most perfect moment.
The girl in the photo jumped forward from behind a row of camera bags, and the distance between the subject and the lens changed. Therefore, ordinary continuous shooting mode and AF-C focusing mode are selected to capture the girl's most stretched posture in the air.
Shuttlecock shooting is suitable for shooting in high-speed continuous shooting mode, because the distance between the figure and the lens is almost constant. Therefore, it can be said that the high-speed continuous shooting mode is suitable for shooting subjects with local motion and high frequency.
Shooting tip 3: Let the photos flow.
Show action with extremely slow shutter speed.
Photos can not only record moments, but also "record" the effect of flow. Using a slow shutter, you can take pictures that are invisible to the naked eye, such as taking pictures of smoke-like running water and taking pictures of starting lights. When shooting with a slow shutter, you need to use a tripod to fix the camera to ensure the image quality.
Shooting the night of Beijing Hutong with a slow shutter, coincidentally, a car that came home late just passed by the camera, and the trajectory of light added a lot of color to the photo. The flowing lights not only add a bit of mystery to the night in Beijing.
When shooting the traffic after sunset, use a slow shutter to make the light track denser and longer. Such a dynamic picture can better show the busy scene of the city.
When shooting running water, the longer the exposure time, the smoother the feeling of water, and even the smoky effect.
Slow door synchronous flash (flash)
Slow door synchronous flash is based on slow shutter and flash. This shooting method is very suitable for creating dynamic pictures. Set the exposure mode to S file when shooting, and then choose a slower shutter speed. After the flash, you can shake the camera properly, the subject is clear because of the flash, and the background is dynamic because of the shaking. It should be noted that when shooting, the flash mode is set to "forced flash" instead of "Hou Lian synchronous flash".
Forced flash mode is synchronous flash of front curtain, which is more suitable for taking this kind of photos.
If you want to take a photo with a strong rock atmosphere, exercise is essential. If you shoot with a slow shutter, although you can record the movement, the singer in motion will also be photographed. At this time, the flash can be used to fill the singer and freeze the wonderful moments of the performance, while the slow shutter can record the passion and movement of the scene.
When using the slow door synchronous flash, the photographer can shake the camera to create dynamic effects and create passionate performance photos.
Tracking the action of the subject with a camera
Use a slow shutter and move the camera to follow the subject in the shooting action. Set the shutter speed to 1/30 seconds or less, and follow the subject with the camera while pressing the shutter. The subject in the photo is clear and the background is blurred. In order to ensure the clarity of the picture, don't set the shutter speed too low when trying this shooting method. After long-term practice, the shutter speed can be gradually slowed down.
Harmony train sped by, slowed down the shutter speed, and then moved the camera to the direction of the train.
So the train is clearly recorded in the picture, and the surrounding scenery is blurred and prominent because of the movement of the lens.
The sense of speed of the train.
Shooting Method 4: Let the night flow.
Zoom when shooting, creating an explosion effect.
How to make a seemingly dull picture dynamic? It is a good way to rotate the zoom ring when shooting! After rotating, you can shoot an explosive picture, and the light will diverge outward, which is very visually impactful, and the quiet night will flow instantly.
Ordinary night scene, slow down the shutter speed, press the shutter and zoom at the same time, the light spreads like an explosion, full of movement!
The explosion effect can also be used to take some creative photos, such as the steps covered with decorative lights, so that friends can stand in front of the steps and rotate the zoom ring to shoot. The explosion effect made the whole photo full of impact and left an unforgettable picture.
