Shandong Calligraphers Association Organization

Since the establishment of the Taishan Literature and Art Award, a strong atmosphere of "Taishan Literature and Art Award is the highest award in Shandong calligraphy" has been created in the whole calligraphy circle, which has improved the enthusiasm and sense of honor of the majority of calligraphers. In the field of calligraphy, 1 person won the outstanding contribution award, more than 40 people won the creation award and 4 people won the theoretical research award. After three consecutive sessions of open, fair and just selection, Taishan Literature and Art Award has become the most authoritative and highest government award recognized by calligraphy circles in our province.

The holding of Shandong International Popular Art Festival and the selection of Taishan Literature and Art Award are of large scale, high level and great influence. They are important events in Shandong literary and art circles since the reform and opening up, and they are also concentrated displays of new achievements in Shandong cultural construction in the past 30 years. Through holding activities and cooperating with each other, the Provincial Book Association has trained the team and trained talents. With the help of these two platforms built by the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Provincial Book Association has also become bigger and stronger and improved its social influence. According to the requirements of the Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China and the Party Group of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the work arrangement of the Fifth National Book Fair, the activity of "Calligraphers Entering Ten Thousand Families" was organized and implemented to vigorously promote the art of calligraphy and give full play to the role of calligraphers and calligraphers in building a harmonious society. With the great attention and strong support of the Party Group and Presidium of Shandong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Shandong Calligraphers Association actively organized, fully mobilized, meticulously implemented and paid attention to practical results, and achieved good social repercussions. Coordinated and organized more than 500 activities of city and county book associations, and more than 50,000 people 1000 members of provincial book associations participated in this activity and wrote more than 50,000 works.

This is the largest cultural activity to the countryside since the establishment of the Book Association. Calligraphers enter the countryside, communities, schools, military camps, factories and mines. While displaying the charm of traditional culture, let the public get close to calligraphy, enlighten wisdom, increase knowledge and create a good cultural atmosphere for building a harmonious society. This activity of the Provincial Book Association has achieved great success, and it has been awarded the title of advanced collective by China Book Association for five consecutive years. Another 12 people were rated as advanced individuals by China Book Association, and six local book associations were rated as advanced units. In 2007, in order to celebrate the victory of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles jointly hosted the "Beautiful Praise-Art Calligraphy Photography Exhibition Celebrating the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in Shandong Province".

In 2008, in order to celebrate the success of the Olympic Games, I will assist the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles to hold the "Photographic Exhibition of Painting and Calligraphy in Welcome to the Olympic Games". From the start-up and evaluation to the opening of the exhibition, the Provincial Book Association attached great importance to it and completed the task with high quality. More than 90 works recommended by me were selected in the "Welcome to the Olympics Thousand People Exhibition" sponsored by China Book Association.

2009 is the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China, which coincides with the 11th National Games held in Shandong. Around these two national events, under the unified arrangement of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Provincial Calligraphy Association actively initiated and meticulously organized the 5th Shandong Calligraphy Seal-cutting Exhibition and the 7th Shandong Youth Calligraphy Seal-cutting Exhibition, and co-organized the Shandong Fine Arts Calligraphy Photography Cultural Relics Exhibition to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China. In particular, five provincial exhibitions received more than 3,600 submissions and selected 36 winning works. A grand exhibition was held in the provincial museum and a number of high-quality works were published. Judging from the selected works, the overall level of Shandong calligraphy seal cutting has been greatly improved. The winning, participating and selected works of this calligraphy seal cutting exhibition reflect the latest development of contemporary calligraphy seal cutting, represent the highest level of contemporary calligraphy seal cutting development, and are a great review of contemporary cultural and artistic construction in our province, with unprecedented scale and gratifying results.

The 7th Shandong Youth Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Exhibition surpassed all previous exhibitions in scale and level, and was a great review of young calligraphers in Shandong. "Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of New China, Shandong Art, Calligraphy, Photography and Cultural Relics Exhibition" focuses on the representative works of contemporary Shandong calligraphers, which has produced good social effects. Shandong Printing Society successfully organized the selection of East China constituency of Xiling Printing Society's poetry and calligraphy joint exhibition, which not only improved the creative strength of the authors in our province, but also improved the artistic level of the seal cutting industry in our province.

After the "4. 12" Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, the Provincial Book Association strictly implemented and fully cooperated with the decisions of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Party Group and the Presidium of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, responded quickly, organized strictly, and took appropriate measures to give full play to the social influence of calligraphy art, mobilizing more than 3,000 members of the Provincial Book Association, nearly 700 members of the China Book Association, a large number of city and county members and the vast number of calligraphy lovers. Within one month after the earthquake, the Association organized seven large-scale calligraphy donation activities, collecting more than 2,000 works of its members and donating more than 200,000 yuan. The huge number, high enthusiasm and quick action are at the forefront of the provincial book associations in China. After the Yushu earthquake, our association also actively organized and mobilized calligraphers to participate in works donation and charity sale fund-raising activities.

Shandong calligraphy has maintained a good development momentum in its creation;

In the selection of the second Lanting Award, 6 people were nominated for the creative award in our province, 2 people won the prize, and 4 1 person entered the exhibition; Second prize of Education Award 1 person, nominated 1 person.

In the third "Lanting Award" selection, there were 1 second prize and 2 third prizes in our province. Second prize of education award1; Second prize of academic research.

"Lanting Award" for two consecutive years, and Shandong's comprehensive award-winning index ranks third in the country.

In the 9th China Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Exhibition held in 2007, 1 person in our province won the first prize, 3 people won the third prize, and 34 people participated in the exhibition, ranking third in the country in terms of comprehensive achievements.

In the "Lanting Award" and "National Exhibition", the two most authoritative national calligraphy exhibitions, Shandong's achievements are in the top three.

In the "First National Book Expo" in 2006, 2 people won the first prize, 3 people won the second prize, 1 person won the third prize, 3 people were nominated and 54 people were selected, ranking third in the country.

In the first cursive exhibition, two people won the second prize, two were nominated and 27 were selected, ranking third in the country.

Three people in our province won the third prize of the fourth national women's calligraphy exhibition, and 60 people were selected, ranking first in the country.

In the 6th National Printmaking Art Exhibition, 56 authors were selected and 5 won prizes, ranking second in the country in terms of the number of participants and winners.

In the 7th National Print Art Exhibition in 2008, Shandong 1 was nominated for the prize, and 67 people were selected.

In the second national cursive calligraphy exhibition, Shandong 1 person won the third prize and 48 people were selected.

In the "First National Album Exhibition", Shandong 1 won the first prize, 1 won the second prize, and 43 people were selected.

Shandong 1 person won the second prize and 1 person won the third prize in the 6th New Works Exhibition of Book City.

In 2009, they won the third prize of the 6th National Exhibition.

In the 6th National seal cutting Exhibition, 2 people won the first prize, 1 won the third prize, and 5 people won the nomination prize, ranking first in the country in terms of the number of candidates and winners.

At the first couplet calligraphy exhibition of Xiling Printing House, 1 person won the Best Works Award, and 1 person was nominated for the Best Works Award.

Looking at the gratifying situation of calligraphy, seal cutting and artistic lettering in Shandong in recent years, it can be said that the achievements are remarkable and hard-won. These achievements also show that the "Qilu calligraphy style with reasonable creative team, tradition as the mainstream and distinctive Shandong regional cultural characteristics" created by Shandong Calligraphy Association is gradually taking shape, which has promoted the great prosperity of calligraphy creation in our province. This is an important sign that Shandong has become a major calligraphy province and is moving towards a strong calligraphy province.
