I want to ask, why are some cameras shooting blue and purple incorrectly?

The reasons are light (reflected light from environment), white balance of camera, lens of camera, photosensitive element of camera, software of camera (solid state), color difference of display, etc. And the color filter may also cause color difference.

Pogostemon effect

Open classification: photography and video

Pogostemon cablin, native to tropical America, is an ornamental woody plant with blue, pink and white flowers.

The effect of Pogostemon fragrans is similar to that of flowers and textiles, and it is difficult to accurately restore their colors, so it is impossible to perfectly copy and reproduce ready-made images with existing photosensitive materials.

This phenomenon is because some substances can not only reflect light in the visible spectrum, but also reflect light in the invisible spectrum. The human eye does not reflect the latter, but the photosensitive materials are different. At the same time, some invisible reflected light is recorded, resulting in "color difference".

Gray, light green, pink and orange in the color of the subject may bring trouble to shooting.
