Ash and Snow Gregory Colbert, a Canadian nature photographer, made 27 long-distance trips around the world in 13 years, and photographed the subtle relationship between man, beast and nature, becoming ash and snow. He spent two and a half years tracking whales and swimming with 55 tons of sperm whales. His lens is always full of poetry and aura, and the images he captures are pure and flawless. There is no fear and danger when people get along with animals, but only love and trust. They snuggle up to each other, are affectionate, or listen, or pray, or play, or hug. The beauty of the picture, the poetic flow, is indescribable, and every breath and every rhythm is moving.
