Extended data:

The difference between film and tape:

1. Generally speaking, the picture effect of film is better than that of adhesive tape in many aspects, such as image quality, color saturation and perspective. Of course, the cost is also higher than that of tape, mainly because film can not be reused after exposure, but tape can be recorded repeatedly.

2. After the film is finished, it should be washed, gelled and magnetized when editing. And tape shooting can be edited directly without these processes, so the production cycle of movie advertisements is longer than that of tape.

3. In the early shooting, the choice of film or tape seems to be related to the budget of the finished film. Use film if the budget is high, and tape if the budget is low.

When shooting a direct and simple commercial film, tape is a good choice. You can view unsuitable shots at any time, or you can directly erase unsuitable shots and shoot again. Tape is also a good choice when advertisements need instant or news interview style.

However, if there are requirements for the quality and color of advertising films, it is best to shoot them with film. Only film can capture the tonal changes of light and shadow and the subtle differences in color and chromaticity.
