How to eliminate printing ghosting

After the printer has been used for a period of time, ghosting may occur, which not only affects the quality of printing, but also brings unnecessary trouble to people. How to solve the problem of printer ghosting is a problem that every friend who owns a printer wants to know. So first of all, what is printer ghosting?

Ghosting refers to the second or third time under the printed document. Repeatedly printing the same information on a document may mainly occur in the two stages of transfer and fixing.

Transfer refers to the process in which the carbon atoms that form the electrostatic latent image on the toner drum are transferred from the drum core to the paper under transfer high pressure. If the transfer conditions are destroyed, the toner will not be completely transferred to the printing paper. In this way, as the drum core rotates, part of the electrostatic latent image will be transferred to the printing paper in the next cycle. The first ghost image is formed. As the drum core rotates over and over again, more latent images will be formed on the printing paper until the electrostatic latent image powder in this part of the drum core is gone. There are actually two possible reasons for the formation: either The amount of toner charge is either due to the life of the transfer roller or the paper is too thick, which requires a relatively high transfer voltage. The user needs to make corresponding changes according to the type of paper being printed.

Fusing means that the toner on the paper is hot-pressed into the paper fiber under high pressure. If the toner sticks to the fixing film at this time, periodic patterns will be formed on the paper as the fixing film rotates. Ghosting. This reason is related to the fact that the melting point of toner is too low and it is easy to stick to powder. In addition, the fixing film material is not good and it tends to stick to powder.
